Humidified: Story Twenty FINALE
The twentieth and FINAL installment in the Humidified flash fiction series is out now! This special edition consists of 150 words, and concludes the misadventures of the narrator and his houseplants's long, sometimes uncomfortably awkward journey. The accompanying, wonderful music providing as this week's soundtrack is by Arden Gonta, support her work! @ardengonta
This last week: The narrator wakes up on the other side of the door in a horribly cliche reality.
The Humidified series is officially finished! I had a lot of fun with these flash fiction stories; it was a nostalgic exercise initially inspired by the memory of a middle school literacy prompt (to write a series of interlinked, 75 word stories). I've thought about those little adventures I wrote as a child a lot over the years, whether for bad or good I suppose is for you to decide, and as a result the Humidified series was born. I started creating these stories with the intention to teach myself how to record and narrate written pieces and ended up learning so much more--not only about microphone and recording techniques but about how important habitual, scheduled writing practice is, even if it is only 75 words. I hope you enjoyed listening to and watching these animated-and-then-live-action oddities as much as I did making them. Thanks for sticking around!
